Talking Traffic With Our Fulton County Commissioner
SEASON 2, EPISODE 5, LIZ HAUSMANN, DISTRICT 1, FULTON COUNTY COMMISSIONER
This week, we sat down with Fulton county commissioner for district 1, Liz Hausmann.
District 1 represents northeast Fulton county and encompasses Johns Creek, and portions of Alpharetta, Roswell, and Sandy Springs east of Georgia 400. We discussed just what is under the purview of the Board of Commissioners, how it connects with municipal government, and what the commission is doing to tackle perhaps our biggest challenge.
In our conversation, you’ll discover that Liz approaches her role with humility and approachability as she strives to help make all of our lives just a little bit better. There are no quick fixes, but we can all do our part to make Roswell a better place to live, work, and play. This is positively Roswell.
Commissioner Hausmann is a proud Georgia native and the daughter of a public school teacher and Episcopal priest. Residing in Johns Creek for 23 years, she has two grown children, two grandchildren, and two step-grandchildren. She attends Mount Pisgah United Methodist Church.
